You get the error afteer an update. The problem is that you are connection to a computer with the same ‘SID’ Security Identifier
The Error
“There is a partial mismatch in the computer ID. This indicates that the ticket has either been tampered with or belongs to another logon session. Authentication failed“
Fist check if you have the same SID on bouth Client and distination computer. Use this command.
Find SID on your computer with this command
C:\Users\Bruger>whoami /user
USER INFORMATION
----------------
User Name SID
================ ==============================================
restore04\bruger S-1-5-21-3244328614-3679007583-1753927729-1001
C:\Users\Bruger>
Note: *.exe file has to be run com an administrator command promt.
It is very important to not log into the computer and not shutdown the computer while SID change is running in background ! This is necessary to preserve the modern user interfaces and apps.
After completing the SID change, the system will automatically shut down or reboot. Do not do that yourself, do not log in, and do not interfere. Best is to not touch the PC at all before the automatic shutdown/reboot !
